The verification and validation tasks suitable for the software product shall be identified, given the assessment of the criticality of the software product. A number of possible verification and validation tasks may be used on the project, for example, document reviews, inspections, and testing. Target life cycle activities and software products needing verification shall be determined based upon the scope, magnitude, complexity, and criticality analysis.
